Today we have recorded the final Foley. We reproduce the sounds which are added to Fish for Life to enhance audio quality. In this case, we’ve reproduced the footsteps of the fisherman Manolin on the sandy beach. The goal of Foley art is to integrate the recorded sounds into the film that it goes unnoticed by the audience. This helps to create authenticity. Otherwise, the animated short would feel unnaturally quiet and uncomfortable. If you’d like to find out more about the big magic of Foley art, we suggest this short movie.
